Merger FAQs

Has your name changed?

We are now a registered company- Fig and Bramble Ltd. We will be trading under the name Fig and Bramble.

Will my wedding florist remain the same?

Yes and No. Gemma or Adele will remain your main point of contact with us, depending on who you have been working with us to date. However, you will benefit from both of us working on your wedding.

Will your prices increase?

The merger will not affect our prices, either for existing or new customers. Of course, market pressures are affecting prices across many industries and that will continue to be a challenge for us. As always, once you have booked your wedding and paid your deposit, our fees are fixed.

Will my bouquet subscription continue?

Yes, it will continue to be provided to you for the same price and regularity. If you pay by bank transfer, we will ask you to update your direct debit with our new company bank details. You can now subscribe on our website and it gives greater flexibility with regularity and duration.

Why are you merging?

Adele and Gemma have worked together a lot over the last two years, whilst running separate floristry businesses in tandem. Adele has focussed more on wedding floristry, whilst Gemma has offered a wider retail offering. By combining our business into one company, we are able to offer a more comprehensive floral service, from gift bouquets to wedding, funeral and event floristry, along with workshops and non-floral gifts. In addition, running a small business alone can sometimes be a stressful and lonely experience. We are looking forward to being able to support one another to build a flourishing business.

Are you moving locations?

Not in the short term- Gemma will continue to work from Whiteparish and Adele from Landford. We are, however, hoping to find joint premises to facilitate the growth of our company, but this will remain in the very local area.

Are your delivery areas changing?

With two of us working for the company, we are able to expand our delivery area for gift bouquets, and will cover from Salisbury to Romsey, across the the New Forest and Waterside. You can type in a postcode at www.figandbramble.co.uk to find if we can deliver to your chosen address. We continue to provide wedding services right across the South of England.

Will you be offering other services?

The merger means we are able to combine what each of our individual businesses do best. We will be providing full floristry services, including gift bouquets, wedding floristry, environmentally friendly final flowers, and an array of workshops across the year.

Are you still committed to using British grown flowers?

Absolutely! The beauty and environmental sustainability of British grown flowers, as well as their contribution to the UK economy, remain very important to us both. We do, however, recognise the seasonal and supply challenges of British flowers and we also buy from the international market, where flowers can be grown without the same artificial heat and light often needed in the UK.
