Late Summer Flowers for Golden Hour Perfection at Sopley Mill Wedding

A&C celebrated their wedding at the gorgeous riverside Sopley Mill near Christchurch in early September 2023, just as we see the seasons change from late summer to early autumn.

This picturesque venue, nestled alongside the tranquil waters of the river, provided a stunning backdrop for their special day, enhancing the romantic atmosphere that surrounded the entire event. As the warm days of summer gracefully transitioned into the cooler, crisp evenings of autumn, the natural beauty of the venue was accentuated by the vibrant colours of the changing leaves and the gentle flow of the river.

This time of year is particularly enchanting, as it offers the most romantic 'Golden Hour' lighting, where the sun casts a warm, soft glow over everything it touches, creating an idyllic setting for love and celebration. A&C thoughtfully chose a palette of perfect cream and peachy tones that harmonized beautifully with the natural scenery, reflecting the warmth.

Flowers included: Roses, Campanula, Cosmos, Zinnia, China Asters and the first of the Dahlias.
